Vogar Travel Service is a family business that offers accommodation and food in a pizza restaurant amidst one-of-a-kind natural setting full of mountains and volcanoes in Iceland.

During this time I was challenged to master multi-functionality and effectiveness in order to juggle between accommodation, catering and customer service.

My tasks were:

* Being a cheerful, positive face of the restaurant who makes the guests and regulars feel welcomed

* Serving customers with precision and punctuality, being knowledgeable about the menu and potential allergens

* Cultivated warm relationships with regular customers

* Serving drinks: alcoholic, non-alcoholic, and coffee drinks

* Helping to make and serve pizza

* Efficiently cleaning the restaurant area and the kitchen

* Being willing to perform additional tasks

Work tasks:

* Greeting and seating guests to establish prompt, high quality service

* Demonstrating full knowledge of all menu items, contents and preparation methods to provide appropriate suggestions based on customer preference

* Mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and coffee drinks

* Optimizing customer experience, serving each guest with sincere, positive and enthusiastic attitude

* Upholding high standard of cleanliness in all work areas to comply with health and safety regulations

* Deal with every problem that arises

Ylicool Catering deals with professional service at various events in Estonia and Europe, it is a company with a very high reputation and is constantly growing. This work was hobby for me as a side job.

Work tasks:

• Welcoming guests with drink trays

• Filling the guests’ glasses with champagne, wine and water; responding to requests and receiving customer feedback

• Showing a good knowledge of the menu items and serving food

• Providing a high level of service and satisfaction to customers attending the event

• Keeping the hall tidy, cleaning dishes and drinking glasses and putting them away

• Loading and unloading equipment on the bus at each event

Work tasks included:

Serving and presenting food, making cocktails, taking orders for take away, ordering products and food items for the kitchen.

During this time I also got experience working as a barista, making specialty coffee drinks with frothed milk decorations
