- Developed due diligence standards to identify the most promising under-resourced high-impact emission reduction measures in the non-CO2 space
- This resulted in a technical report focused on black carbon and identifying ways to lower the Arctic warming by up to 0.2oC
- Updated atmospheric chemistry model for an innovative startup to reduce industrial volatile organic compound emissions through a gas phase advanced oxidation
- Built an open-source collaborative database of carbon removal (CDR) methods that will be used in future course materials
- Designed and managed a black carbon removal project for shipping - recruited a team of 5, collaborated with subject matter experts and stakeholders, performed technology due diligence, and identified an innovative solution technology
- This resulted in 2nd prize.
