Lead mechanic looking for new opportunities.
As a lead I make sure the work gets done on time, while keeping the atmosphere pleasant. As a mechanic I care not only about getting the work done, but also the quality and impression that the work creates. Long term success depends on little things that you make sure to do well.
After being out of the job market for a while, I am extremely motivated to start a new job. I love the mechanic work for the visible and highly valuable outcome that it creates. As the opportunities are rather limited in the aviation industry in Estonia, I am exploring new industries. I am sure there's a ton of exciting opportunities in a variety of industries that could use an extra pair of hands in their team. Do get in touch if you happen to represent one.
Work in base maintenance where airplanes come in for regular 1-3 month long full maintenance service. Work is organised in zones, lead by a zone lead who inspects and tests the airplane, its systems and structures, identifying the necessary work items. These task lists are then handed over to the lead mechanic who distributes and organises the work of mechanics to complete the tasks. The lead mechanic trains and supervises other mechanics, fills in paperwork about the completed tasks and is heavily involved in hands on mechanic work himself.
