  • My key functions as Operations Officer included collection and analysis of
    information on the security situation in the region, development and update of possible security related scenarios and
    operational prognosis, briefing staff accordingly, including patrol groups. I was kept responsible for coordination of
    tasks and responsibilities with local security services to ensure their continuous preparedness levels to support the
    mission if and when needed. I participated and contributed to all security related meetings, including UN, where
    regularly shared information on potential risks and threats and undertaken mitigation measures, especially related to
    the safety and security of our frontline patrolling guards. Part of my tasks was to develop, update and provide the
    mandatory introductory and advanced security briefings on the range of general and sensitive security/operations
    related issues.
